The Rainforest World Music Festival 2015

A good friend of mine just reminded me that in a few months time, The Sarawak Cultural Village will once again be the venue for the Rainforest World Music Festival 2015.  One of the bands performing this year is SHOOGLENIFTY from Scotland. 



How many of you remember SHOOGLENIFTY when they performed the Rainforest World Music Festival.  If memory serves, they've performed at the RWMF three times including at the 10th Anniversary in 2007. 

Well, this band from Scotland is back again to perform in this year's RWMF.  This is their 25th year as a band and they are doing a "going back to perform at their favourite places" tour.

 

They are the nicest and gentlest of people, and then they go on stage to become monster musicians – Jun-Lin Yeoh, Artistic Director, RWMF

So, don't miss their performance over the festival - 7-9 August, 2015! Venue - Sarawak Cultural Village, Santubong, Malaysia.
